Doctoral Degree Program

  1. Required credit for graduation is 32.
  2. The course credit of “Thesis” is 12, which will be given after the pass of the oral defense.
  3. The course credit of “Seminar” is 2, which will be given after taking the course in each semester and the pass of the oral defense.
  4. Students have to complete at least 3 core elective courses in this program for graduation.
  5. The total of 3 course credits taken in another Doctoral Degree Program are counted in the required credits for graduation.
  6. The total of 6 course credits taken in Master of Mechanical Engineering Program and Master of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering Program are counted in the required credits for graduation. 
  7. Students choose the same course which has been completed in their Master Degree Program can’t be counted in the required credits for graduation.
  8. The beginning semester of elective courses can be adjusted by the determination of Department.
  9. Graduate Students who would like to choose the course of another university should follow the rules of National Defense University.
